Christine Black went to Salt Lake City to visit her son, Charles Black, and grandson, Matthew Smith, for Christmas. She spent several days there. Last Saturday, Christine took her daughter, Barbara Smith, out to have lunch and do some shopping.
Jarbalo United Methodist Church Women met Jan. 8 at the church. President Marilyn Oxley opened the meeting with a prayer. Six members answered roll call and reported 49 care calls. The group filled out program books for 2014. Those attending were Marilyn Oxley, Elaine Onasch, Faye Cleavinger, Frances Jeannin, Rosie Oelschlaeger and Thamar Barnett.
