The Barnett family enjoyed a Labor Day picnic and baby shower Aug. 30. Drake Lee Mooberry arrived a few days early on Aug. 28 and was able to attend his own shower, which took place at Jarbalo United Methodist Church.
Those attending were David and Jane Turner, David Turner Jr. and Sydney, Kathy Stimac, Terry Drennon, Kipp Barnett, Tammy Mooberry, Ronnie Mooberry, Dameta Tullis and Drake, Ryan and Rhiannon Siefkas and Kaleb, Madison Smith, Paul and Lynn Heskett and Isaac, Michelle Heskett, Kody and Julie Heskett, Emily and Aubrie, Julia Carter and Shianne, Eric Barnett, Derek and Luci Barnett, Kyle and Milla, and Thamar Barnett.
• Michelle Heskett presented her father, Paul, with a decorated “over the hill” 50th birthday walker. His birthday is Tuesday.
• Jarbalo United Methodist Church hosted a meeting of Gateway Disabled Group on Sunday.
• The Jarbalo UMC Rummage Sale and Bake Sale will be 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Sept. 19 and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 20.
