Separate boys and girls leagues will begin Nov. 8 and meet on Saturday mornings in the Tonganoxie Middle School gymnasium. Registration is $30 for students in the Tonganoxie school district and $36 for out-of-district students.

• There is also a girls volleyball camp coming for fourth- through sixth-graders. The camp will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturdays from Nov. 8 to Dec. 6, except for Nov. 29, in the TMS gym. Registration costs are the same as the basketball league and are due at 5 p.m. Oct. 17. Fourth-graders will also be allowed to participate in the basketball league.

• Coach Phil Jeannin will host a basketball camp for kindergartners from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. Nov. 3-6 in the Tonganoxie Elementary School north gym. Cost is $15 for district students and $18 for out-of-district and is due Oct. 24.

• A “Turkey Shoot” free throw contest will take place at 6 p.m. Nov. 18 at TMS. There will be girls and boys divisions for grades 3-4 and 5-6. Winners of each division will receive a turkey for the holiday season. Registration is $3 and is due Nov. 14. Proceeds will be donated to Good Shepherd Thrift Store.
