Marvin Jepson and Toma and Marlene Jepson visited David and Jane Turner on Dec. 8. Marvin and his wife, Jane, from California, were visiting friends and relatives in the area.
Jarbalo United Methodist Women met Dec. 11 for a noon Christmas dinner. Those enjoying the meal were Frances Jeannin, Marilyn Oxley, Rosie Oelschlaeger, Christine Black, Thamar Barnett and the Rev. Larry Grove.
The pastor led the program and talked about Christmas traditions. He then had everyone tell of their traditions.
The Oelschlaeger family had a surprise birthday party for Rosie Oelschlaeger at the church Dec. 12. Many of her relatives and friends were there. In addition, there was a lot of good food provided.
On Dec. 13, the children of the church had a pageant. After the church service, there was a meal. It was another enjoyable day a the church.
McLouth Happenings

McLouth area churches are offering Christmas Eve services so that everyone has the opportunity to worship.
l First Baptist Church of McLouth invites residents to a beautiful and relaxed Christmas Eve candlelight service, featuring communion, the hymns of Christmas and special music at 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
l McLouth United Methodist Church welcomes everyone to candlelight Christmas Eve services at 9 p.m. Thursday. Join the congregation for a time of song and fellowship as the church prepares its hearts for Christmas.
