Tree lighting event Dec. 5
Mark your calendars. McLouth’s 6th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, December 5, downtown in City Park. Enjoy free food, drinks and door prizes donated by local businesses and folks who want this to be a special occasion for our community. Join in the Christmas Caroling. Santa Claus will arrive by fire truck. Everyone is welcome to bring your own decorated tree (real or artificial) beginning the day after Thanksgiving and have it ready to light on the 5th of December. Set up, decorating, and removal will be the responsibility of the tree owner. If the weather is unfavorable, come to the warmth and comfort of the McLouth Firehouse for the fun. We’ll have a wonderful “Festival of Trees” when lit at dark. If you have questions, or would like to make donations, please call Mary: (913) 796-6921 or Kim: (913) 796-6411.
