Previously in a winter weather advisory, Tonganoxie has been upgraded to a winter storm warning. Leavenworth County is among counties in northeast Kansas, along with east central Kansas and north central and west central Missouri, that are included in the warning.

Heavy snow, anywhere from 4-7 inches, is possible, along with wind gusts as high as 45 mph.
