Tonganoxie Business Association will have a ribbon cutting at 4:50 p.m. Friday, just in time to usher in the new era of the Fourth Street space.

Grit and Grind Sportshouse officially will open at 5 p.m. and feature live music from 8-11 p.m. Friday with Porter and Friends.

The establishment’s opening week hours are 5 p.m.-1 a.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-1 a.m. Saturday. On Sunday, Grit and Grind will be handing out souvenir Chiefs cups on draft for the first Chiefs game of the Grit and Grind era at 3:25 p.m. The sports house will be open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.

Grit and Grind is at 622 E. Fourth St. in the former Ryan’s Public House building.
