E Stouts Corner, a Linwood convenience store, was the target of a burglary and theft on Friday. Someone broke the front glass of the store to enter the building. The case is under investigation, sheriffs reports said.

E A vehicle driven by Kaylee Anne Wempe, 16, Lawrence, was traveling south on 262nd Street, about 0.2 of a mile south of Loring Road about 12:30 a.m. Saturday when she lost control on gravel, hit a mailbox and fence and then overturned. Wempe suffered minor injuries. Her vehicle received more than $500 in damages, sheriffs reports said.

E Someone has damaged a tombstone in Fall Creek Cemetery, which is about six miles northwest of Tonganoxie. According to reports, two wooden boxes were set on fire, which caused an undetermined amount of damage.
