Jarbalo Jottings
The Jaunty Jarbalonians chapter of the Red Hat Society met Saturday at Ten Penny Restaurant in Leavenworth for lunch and a meeting.
Those attending were Lynn Paul, Jane Turner, Betty Clark and Thamar Barnett.
David and Jane Turner attended the monthly meeting of the Santa Fe Trail Leather Artists Guild on Saturday in Topeka.
The date has been set for the rummage sale at Jarbalo United Methodist Church. It will be 5-8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
There will also be a bake sale at the church. It will coincide with the garage sale that Edie Mongold always has in the spring. Hers will go until 2 p.m. Saturday.
There will be a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Easter sunrise service will be 7 a.m. Sunday at the church. There will be a breakfast following the service.
