John Louis Sanders, 87, McLouth, passed away Monday, July 25. His funeral was held at First Baptist Church of McLouth July 29, and he was buried in McLouth Cemetery. Zelma and the Sanders Family appreciate all the prayers and visits during his month-long illness and after his passing.
Tonganoxie Pickers will meet at 7 p.m. Friday, July 13, in the Tonganoxie Friends Church. The public is welcome.
American Legion Riders Post 41 will hold its monthly meeting at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Elle’s Diner on U.S. Highway 24-40 in Tonganoxie.
McLouth Friendship Club’s covered dish luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 16, at the community center. All adults over 50 are welcome. Please bring food to share and your table service. The theme will be “Patriotism.” Please bring photos and memories to share.
McLouth Church of the Nazarene’s Vacation Bible School’s theme is: “SKY: Everything Is Possible With God.” Fun for all ages! Everyone is invited from 6:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Monday through Friday (July 16-20) and Sunday morning, July 22.
