Indoor scavenger hunt for youths

Bring the kids for a fun and easy indoor scavenger hunt at the library!

It’s the Back-to-School Scavenger Hunt complete with small prizes for completing the hunt. Youths can come to the front desk to pick up a sheet starting Aug. 6 and then search the library for what needs to be found. The scavenger hunt will be available to do until Aug. 11.

Pokemon card trading day

Do you have kids who love collecting Pokemon cards?

The library is having a special program just for trading Pokemon cards with other kids! Children 7 years and younger need to have an adult present, if they wish to trade cards, but kids of all ages are welcome to attend during this event at 1 p.m. Aug. 7.

Note: We won’t be playing Pokemon, just trading cards.

New adult game days

Interested in cribbage or board games and want to connect with others in the community?

The library will have a cribbage day on Aug. 12 and a board game day on Aug. 19 for just adults. If you don’t know how to play cribbage or have much experience with a variety of board games, no worries at all.

Everything will be quick to pick up! Game days begin at 1 p.m.
