Tonganoxie VFW biscuits and gravy Thursday for New Year’s

Tonganoxie VFW to be site for New Year’s biscuits and gravy breakfast. Tonganoxie VFW Post 9271 again will sponsor a biscuits and gravy breakfast on New Year’s Day at the post home, 910 E. First St. Breakfast will be served 7-11:30 a.m. Thursday. All are welcome to attend.

Tongnoxie Rec Commission to have special holiday hours

Tonganoxie Recreation Commission will close at 5 p.m. today for New Year’s Eve and will be closed Thursday in observance of New Year’s Day. The TRC Activity Center will reopen at 7 a.m. Friday for its regular hours. It will close at 6:30 p.m.
