The brewery’s latest fundraiser was Paws, Play, Repeat where dogs could come play in the brewery’s gated outdoor area and splash around in kiddie pools. A goat even made an appearance at Sunday’s event. A portion of certain sales Sunday went toward Leavenworth County Humane Society, as well as a designated donation jar for LCHS.

County Road Brewing, 1601 Commerce Dr. in Tonganoxie, is a pet-friendly establishment every day. People are welcome to bring their friendly dogs any day and hang out in the fenced outdoor area just east of the brewery or the open-air porch at the brewery’s entrance. The restaurant and brewery also has waste bags in case anyone forgets theirs at home.

The brewery also has done a fundraiser for Wyatt Bennett, the Tonganoxie High School student who recently competed at the high school nationals for clay trap shooting.

In addition to fundraisers, County Road Brewing is offering a series of music bingo. And just last Friday, the brewery offered dueling pianos in its outdoor area.

Music Bingo has been taking place 5:30-7:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays this summer. The next Music Bingo is tonight. They also will have music bingo on Aug. 13 and Aug. 27. The bingo is free to play. There are four games and winning customers receive prizes.

The brewery also has happy hour specials on Wednesday afternoons. The establishment is open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon-8 p.m. Sundays.
