McLouth Happenings: National Day of Prayer; Family Fun Festival

McLouthNational Day of Prayer is next week
National Day of Prayer is May 1.
This annual observance encourages people of all faiths to humbly pray for our nation, seeking God’s guidance for our leaders and his grace upon us as a people.
Family fun festival
McLouth Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with the McLouth Public Library Summer Reading Fundraiser, invites the community to the inaugural Family Fun Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 3.
The event will take place at the McLouth Downtown City Park. Face Painter will be here from noon to 3 p.m. Fun Activities for the Kids! The library will sponsor raffles, a silent auction, book sale and bake sale.
As a complimentary community event, families can attend at no cost, except for food. The Sweet Life will offer a meal at an affordable, family-friendly price.
